I'm sure The Woodlands is welcoming and all that jazz, but moving somewhere that's mostly WASP and lacking in fellow Hispanics will probably not be fun. How diverse is The Woodlands? I'm not an Anglo-Saxon I'm a white Hispanic. (However, with this COVID-19 situation possibly lasting until 2021, this isn't a big deal for right now) Is this still true today? How hard is it to find your niche here? While the serenity sounds great, if I don't have any friends I might go crazy lmao. I'll be a 22-23 single male, and I've read that The Woodlands is pretty shit for singles.

This isn't really a pro OVER The Heights but it's a pro nonetheless Without sounding like I'm humblebragging (sorry), I can afford to rent a nice place around The Woodlands for a very reasonable price, especially compared to where I am living right now. Also I don't like crowds and crowded spaces either, so relative solitude also sounds great I would much prefer the relative peace of the Woodlands over the noise and calamity of a large city. Also read somewhere that The Woodlands has a lot of marathons and similar stuff, which is right up my alley. From my research, there's so much to do in The Woodlands that appeals to me with the trails, parks, greenspace, lakes, etc. Access to nature is very important to me, and living in a concrete jungle downtown just seems very depressing. I've been debating between living in The Heights in Houston or The Woodlands since both are equally as far from where I'll be working (somewhere in between), and I think The Woodlands is more suited for me because: Good afternoon everybody, I'm looking to get some insight into whether living in The Woodlands would be a good move for me.
